What is HTML? It means "Here is Text Man, Love it". It's text
on steroids.
Noooo, it stand for HyperText Markup Language (HTML). Hyper is the
steroid part, at least my definition. The text is the usual thing we read. But,
it really means text that is used by a web browser to do some really cool stuff.
It's fancy text?
Our ordinary text can now do tricks like display fancy text, graphics. Jump from
one web location to another, play music, and the text can even allow us to watch
videos. I told you - text on steroids.
HTML needs a browser?
The browser retrieves our HTML pages from Web servers - thanks to the Internet
and displays its content like text, images and audio. HTML files are nothing
more than specially formatted text files.
